Customer Service Representatives

~ Barista ~ Sommellier ~

Primary duties:

• Preparing and serving food and beverages.
• Sanitation Duties to include washing dishes, food preparation equipment, cleaning bathrooms, sweeping floors, removing trash, and bussing tables.
• Calculating customer charges, operating cash register and credit card machine and collecting payments.
• Placing orders for food, beverages and supplies.
• Receive and stock deliveries.
• General care of furniture and fixtures to include dusting, waxing, watering plants, pruning plants.
• Setting up tables and chairs.
• Picking up supplies from vendors.
• Minor maintenance to include changing light bulbs and HVAC filters.
• Arranging for repair vendors to service equipment/systems.

General Expectations:

• Positive, friendly attitude.
• Attentive but not intrusive with customers.
• No profanity.
• Non-confrontational with customers or fellow employees.
• On time for scheduled work shift.
• Energetic.
• Must always represent the company's interests in a positive manner.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift cases up to 30 pounds.
• Must be able to remove a cork.
• Will be handling fragile service ware.
• Will be standing and or walking for long periods.
• Stooping, bending, twisting, reaching overhead, lifting/carrying, climbing
• Working inside and outside. Hot and cold work environments.
• Exposure to chemicals and cleaners.

• Able to measure food portions
• Basic math skills
• Good communication skills
• Food Managers certificate a plus
• Able to read and follow instructions
• Knowledge of coffees and/or wines a plus
• Previous restaurant experience a plus

• Associates handling food and beverages may be required to tie hair back, and/or wear a hat and/or a hair net.

• Associates handling food and beverages may be required to wear disposable gloves.

Morning shift 6:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Company supplied uniform to include shirts and/or hats and/or apron or approved appropriate comfortable, clean, work clothing. No flip/flops. No exposed tattoos. Only visible piercing allowed are ear piercing/ear rings. No excessive hanging jewelry, perfume, or makeup. Hair must be kept clean and neatly groomed. As appropriate, longer length hair, should be tied back. Facial hair must be kept neatly groomed.

Evening shift 2:00 p.m. 10:00 p.m. (occasionally mid-night)

Black polished shoes. Black socks or hose. Clean, black dress/pants/skirts. No denim. Clean, pressed, white or black collared shirts, or company provided shirt. Company provided apron and tie. Only visible piercing allowed are ear piercing/ear rings. No excessive hanging jewelry, perfume, or makeup. Hair must be kept clean and neatly groomed. As appropriate, longer length hair, should be tied back. Facial hair must be kept neatly groomed.
