We unlocked our doors on May 9th, 2008 and turned on the "OPEN" sign. Prior to that date we were unable to hire enough staff to operate the coffee end of our business therefore we could only open for limited hours. On Thursday, May 19th, 2008 we opened for the morning coffee service.

We are by no means wine or coffee experts, but we're certainly wine and coffee lovers. In addition, we are also environmentally conscious. Where possible we utilize either fresh, all natural and/or organic products. An example, all of our milk products are organic, as are many of our cheeses and vegetables. Further, our "plastic" cups are actually made of corn and are biodegradable.

Since then....

The morning business just wasn't there (yet) to justify opening at 6:30 a.m. On December 26, 2008 we decided to change our hours and open at 2:00 p.m. Monday - Saturday. We still expect to reopen for breakfast and lunches someday in the near future; and we're are still looking for that exceptional individual with a unique culinary flair to put together menus and kick-off the breakfast and lunch portion of the B & G's business.

The evening coffee & wine business continues to grow. We originally started with about 60 different wines and now carry well over 200 wines, many rated at or above 90 points. We've added weekly wine tastings and daily wine & coffee specials; and we continue to expand our evening munchie menu with desserts made in-house. We've also added four great flat breads, cooked to order.

Electronic menus and an iPhone controlled sound system are just a few new additions to the cafe.
